Dementia Life has three missions at the heart of everything that we do.
OUR MISSIONS
We aim to break down the stigma around Dementia by raising awareness of the societal, emotional, and financial impacts that are often hidden by discussing them openly. We believe that we can provide help and support throughout all stages of Dementia, Whether a loved one suspects Dementia in another, has just received a diagnosis or is in a progressive stage of Dementia. The diagnosis is often the focus of many support initiatives. Yet we all know that Dementia will have a significant impact on all of their friends, family and loved ones linked to the person with the diagnosis; these are the people who are often forgotten and who we want to support via Dementia Life!

From Our Supporters
"Dementia Life has really helped me overcome feelings of grief I was experiencing after mum was diagnosed. It was great to talk to others about mum's Alzheimer's diagnosis and know that we weren't alone with what we were going through"
Dementia Life Supporter
"Dad has been in a care home for a few years now and we found the support that Dementia Life could give us really helpful. The meetings have been great to talk about how dad is getting on and as we're further along in the journey than others we've felt great being able to share what we have been through"
Dementia Life Supporter
"I still haven't got a formal diagnosis yet for mum but the Dementia Life meetings have still been so helpful. It's been reassuring to talk to others and I feel more prepared to face whatever is coming"
