Where to start
Many people who have someone in their life with dementia don't refer to themselves as carers. They are just doing what needs to be done for the person they love. We're here to help support you. The sons, daughters, partners, siblings, friends of those diagnosed. Whatever you're going through, we've created a space for you, filled with people that just get it.

About Our Founder
Jack Vernon
Hi, Jack here. My mum was diagnosed with young-onset Alzheimer's in early 2024. She'd spent her working life caring for people with dementia. After her diagnosis, I looked for support — for me, for my dad, for our family — and couldn't find what I needed. So I built it. Dementia Life is for the sons, daughters, partners, siblings and friends who don't know where to turn after someone they love is diagnosed. Come and find us.

These aren't training sessions or therapy. They're conversations. People share what's working, what's not, the small wins and the bad weeks. You can come every week, drop in occasionally, sit quietly with your tea, camera on or camera off — whatever you need.

Changing the Conversation
Family support is one side of what we do. The other side is shifting the conversation earlier — in classrooms, in offices, and in the evidence we're gathering to push for better policy.
