Our Missions

Dementia doesn't stop being hard because nobody's talking about it. It just gets harder, quietly, for the families going through it alone. Our mission is to change that — for people newly diagnosed, for the families supporting them, and for everyone still to come.

Talk Openly About Dementia

Dementia carries a stigma that stops people asking for help until they're desperate. We talk about it plainly — the good days and the brutal ones — because silence is what leaves families isolated in the first place. The more openly we talk, the sooner the next family finds us.

Support Families Impacted by Dementia

Dementia doesn't just impact the person diagnosed. There are sons doing school runs, working and caring for their mum. There are daughters who are having the same conversation with their dad five times a day. Their are partners grieving someone who's still in the room. We build support around the whole family, not just the diagnosis.

Nurture Strong Local Communities

We build spaces — online and in person — where families can find each other, swap what's actually worked, and stop feeling like the only ones going through it.

There's More to Come From Dementia Life

Talking, supporting, and building community are only part of this. We're also turning what families tell us into evidence — through things like the Family Impact Study — and using it to push for the policy change that no single family can win alone. That work is still taking shape. Keep checking back to see where we are with it.
