Dementia in Numbers

As of 2026 there are estimated to be around one million people in the UK with a dementia diagnosis. This is expected to rise to 1.4m by 2040 and exceed 2m by 2050.

We know that a dementia diagnosis impacts more than just the person diagnosed. Dementia Life was created to support the friends, families and loved ones while they navigate the diagnosis journey.

What We Do

Dementia Life offers community support to families, friends and loved ones. Whether your loved one has an official diagnosis or not, we know what it can be tough and our support is here for you.

Our group meetings both in-person and online are a fantastic way of getting real life, experience-led advice from others in the same situation.

How We Can Help

We know that a diagnosis of a loved one can be daunting. We know that the mountain of leaflets and clinical guidance can be a lot to take in and some times it doesn't feel like it is talking to your exact situation.
