Who Attends?
We have a range of attendees at almost every stage of the dementia journey, from people whose loved ones are in residential care settings to others who are just beginning to notice behavioural changes.
Our groups consist of people of all ages, too. We have attendees whose husband or wife has dementia, to people whose grandparent has dementia. Our groups are open to any family member, friend or loved one who is impacted.
How Do I Book?
Booking your place for our In-Person events couldn't be easier! All you need to do is find your nearest event on our website. We've put a section below with our next In-Person Events to help, simply fill out the form on the event you want to join.
We also accept walk-ins, so if you turn up on the day, don't worry, we won't turn you away. We do ask people to book, if possible, so we can plan for the number of attendees.
What to Expect
Firstly, you can expect a friendly and supportive environment with zero judgment. We try to keep sessions open for discussions on any topic. We find that people get the most out of the sessions by talking about how they and their loved ones have been. It's easy to forget to check in with ourselves when a loved one has dementia.
We don't expect everyone to open up right away, so if you just want to come along and listen, we'll make sure you're supported then too.
