What to Expect from the Event

Shared Experiences

During this event, members will have the opportunity to share their own lived experiences (on a volunteer basis only) related to the event topic, which can be discussed among attendees.

This is an online event that will utilise a conference platform, such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom, for our members to communicate. Once you have registered your interest in joining the event, you will receive dial-in information before the event.

Jack Is Your Event Lead

Jack’s mum was diagnosed with Young-Onset Alzheimer’s in May 2024. Dementia Life was created after seeing that there was a significant lack of support for people like him, the family of the person living with Dementia.

Jack wanted to ensure that people in the future wouldn’t have to feel the same isolation and abandonment he had felt. Dementia Life is here to bring together people in similar situations and build a community support network that’s experienced and not medically led.
