Our Suffolk Community

The Dementia Life Suffolk community was our original community, as this is where our founder (Jack Vernon) was based when he created Dementia Life. Our members often meet up for social get-togethers, whether online or in person.

Jack Is Your Event Lead

Jack’s mum was diagnosed with Young-Onset Alzheimer’s in May 2024. Dementia Life was created after seeing that there was a significant lack of support for people like him, the family of the person living with Dementia.

Jack wanted to ensure that people in the future wouldn’t have to feel the same isolation and abandonment he had felt. Dementia Life is here to bring together people in similar situations and build a community support network that’s experienced and not medically led.
